Welcome to the home page of the De Anza College orchestra. We're a community orchestra as well as a class taught at De Anza in Cupertino (how to sign up online -- normal registration for the Fall 2006 quarter is over, but join us for the winter quarter!).
We'll be playing two concerts the first weekend of December. The first will be accompanying a sing-along Messiah in Morgan Hill and the second will be with the De Anza College Wind Ensemble.
Hosted by Advent Lutheran Church, the sing-along (flyer) is on Saturday, December 2nd, 2006 at 4:00 pm. The public is invited.

(Orchestra members are reminded to show up at 1pm for a pre-concert rehearsal.)
Soon, it will be time to join the orchestra for the winter quarter! Feel free to contact the communications manager, Soren Spies, at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or just show up to a Thursday night rehearsal (the first one is September 28th). Prior orchestral experience is helpful but not required.
We practice from 7pm-10pm on Thursday nights in De Anza's room A-31 (inside the shaded building "A3" on this campus map -- note the big parking structure). De Anza itself is at Stevens Creek and Highway 85 (directions).
(please link to us; we may eventually have a fancier site and we'd like to show up in search engines someday :)
